Things that drinking water can help with (part 2)
Feeling more energised: It can be difficult to find the energy to get through the day, particularly during these long,
dark winter months. Drinking around eight glasses of water a day, filled up from your under sink water chiller, will help boost your energy levels and make everything less of a struggle. So get slurping!
Headaches: Many of us resort to taking pain killers when it’s relatively unnecessary. Next time you find yourself reaching for the paracetamol when your head is aching, try drinking water instead and see if it makes any difference. Chances are you’re dehydrated. Of course, if it persists, seek medical advice.
Meditation and time out: Taking a few minutes at regular intervals throughout the day, to fill your glass and stand at the under sink water chiller staring into space can really help bring your focus back to work, and to the day ahead of you. The brain works in forty minute time slots, and concentrating for longer than that means that your productivity is not at its maximum. So keep filling that glass!
Fighting colds: Sneezing is common at this time of year, so give your natural defences a helping hand by drinking plenty of water. Being hydrated gives your body a certain one-up-man-ship over those pesky germs.
