Tasty summer drinks from our under sink chillers- Part 2

June 6th, 2010

enjoy our under sink chiller cocktailsFollowing the delicious cocktail that we shared with you last week, as a treat to help you out with catering for any summertime partying you may be doing this year, we’re bringing you yet another scrummy recipe. Still non-alcoholic, so the whole family can enjoy it, and still 100% refreshing and delicious, we present…the under sink chiller take on the classic Mai Thai.
- Take a (empty) glass, dip the rim in a saucer of any fruit syrup, and dip into a saucer of sugar, to create a pretty decoration.
- Fill a quarter of the glass with peach juice, and the remaining space with orange juice. Remember to leave a little room for ice!
- Drizzle grenadine syrup into the glass, and watch it create beautiful patterns.
- For the grand finale, take your ready-made ice cubes, created with the water from your under sink chiller, and voila. A delicious drink. For extra “wow” factor, try adding a slice on pineapple onto the glass, and maybe a paper umbrella.
We always love to hear from you, so let us know how you get on with making our cocktails. We’re also available for taster sessions, should you so require an expert opinion. Thank you.

Tasty summer drinks from your under sink chiller- Part 1

May 30th, 2010

make summer drinks with an under sink chillerIt’s getting warmer (we think), and it’s time to make the most of the delicious cool water from any of our under sink chillers. But let’s face it, plain water isn’t always what you crave, and it’s not that groovy to serve it at your summertime gatherings- so we’re here to help. This week sees the beginning of a two-part blog, in which we share some of our fave summer beverages with you, that are easy to rustle up, and taste delicious. We hope you enjoy them!
Strawberry blast cocktail:
- Take 4 cups of strawberries, and puree them. Once they’re nice and mushy, strain them to remove the seeds.
- Splash in 2 cups of lemonade, along with 3.5 cups of cranberry juice, mixed with ½ cup of cold water from your under sink chiller.
- Add ginger ale to taste, and serve in cool glasses with ice if desired! A slice on lime on the side of the glass also adds an extra summery feel.
If you have any questions about our products, or would like to share another cocktail recipe with us/let us know what you think of this one, please do get in touch. We always love to hear from you!
